Paleoimaging and Mummy Studies in 2020: The non-destructive imaging of Nesiur and friends.

Dr. Andrew Nelson from the University of Western Ontario will be giving a FREE talk in the planetarium about the virtual imagining of Nesiur and other mummy studies.

2020 Sloth Tai Chi Experience

Get inspired by the balance, strength, pace, and flexibility of everyone’s favorite Discovery Zoo resident: Patience! Join us for an introductory Tai Chi class that will begin with an introduction to our Linne’s two-toed sloth, followed by a 45-minute beginner class.

Science After Hours at Alematic Brewhouse

Every second Thursday of the month, the Education Department brings science into the community by facilitating Science After Hours at the popular brew house, Alematic Artisan Ales, located in Huber Heights. Science After Hours is a collaboration between the Boonshoft Museum and Alematic to provide an engaging, science rich experience for the community. Each month has a new theme, featuring hands-on activities.
