In addition to the Super Science Saturday event, there are other events and special programs scheduled for the Science Festival Weekend:
Friday, November 18, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery will host 300 middle school students from the greater- Dayton area for a free morning of STEM immersion, hands-on activities, and opportunities to interact with area STEM organizations, businesses, and professionals.
2016 partners include: NASA, WPAFB Starbase, Dayton Children’s Hospital Network, Premier Health - Careflight, Motoman Robotics, DP&L, Cargill, FASTLANE, the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery’s Live Animals and Collections Departments, and many more. Each of these community partners will host a display in the Main Exhibit Hall/Education Lobby for an expo-style event, promoting real-world STEM and science careers.
From 9:00 a.m. – noon students will interact with partners in the Main Exhibit Hall and then enjoy a free Planetarium Show in the Museum’s Planetarium.
This program is only available to select schools, and spaces fill early! Schedule subject to change.

Enjoy an evening of exploration and innovation at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery on Friday, November 18, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Join our donors and Dayton Regional Science Festival community partners for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a tour through the STEM-related exhibits on display for the community. Experience the latest in robotic engineering and even try your hand at 3D printing!
