Want help earning science-related badges, belt loops, academic pins, and Girl Scout journeys? Let our experienced staff help you! Scouts serve an important role in our community, and the Museum is here to assist them in meeting their diverse program requirements. The Museum’s Education Department offers unique and activity packed weekend and afternoon programs for groups of 10 or more scouts. Experience the excitement as you work towards belt loops, academic pins, badges, and journeys with experienced Museum professionals.
Contact our schedule coordinator at 937.275.7431, ext. 125 to find out which requirements will be met through each program. Complete three programs within a year and receive a special Boonshoft fun patch.
Price & Program Length
Please note that a non-refundable $50 deposit is due two (2) weeks prior to the program; balance is due by the Friday prior. Payment can no longer be accepted the day of program. Minimum program fee for hour-long programs: $100; minimum for 3 hour programs: $300.
Programming Times: Most Scout programs can be scheduled for Saturdays or Sundays at 10:30 a.m. or Monday – Friday at 4:00 p.m. Due to the extended program time, Girl Scout Journeys can be scheduled on the weekend or by appointment.
