Zoo Lovers Day

Did you know that nearly a third of all amphibian species and a fourth of all mammals are now threatened with extinction? Best estimates show that 18,000+ species -- including, birds, fish, mammals, invertebrates, reptiles, and amphibians -- currently face extinction. By educating the public about these dangers, offering the best possible animal care, and creating active opportunities for conservation through the AZA Species Survival Plan, zoos across the U.S. and around the world are working hard to stem the tide.

Join us for a day celebrating the conservation and education efforts of thousands of zoo keepers -- and their animal counterparts! -- at Zoo Lovers Day.
